Listen to Michael and Ezekiel's commentary.
For the Nike Dunk Waffle posters, I was tasked with creating a visually appealing poster that would include a QR code, which upon scanning take you to the site of the product being advertised. So for my poster I decided to advertise a pair of sneakers that I own.
When making the actual poster I wanted it to be heavily inspired by the color scheme of the shoe itself, so in order to achieve this I went for a illustrative style that would allow me to play around with the way the shoe looks and how it’s positioned.
The assignment for the project was to use my logo and the implements in the real world. The folding pattern in the black and white tee shirt gives a nice visual while still keeping it simple. Meanwhile, duffel bag has the theme of simplistic and yet striking. As for the logo itself, it was my own logo, taking some inspiration from New York Time. Keeping the clean cut look and still combining the letters Z and E, made it unique.
